100 Derece The band was founded in 2000 by Barış Çakır, Uluç Taşocak and Emre Cebeci. Their friendship resting on high school years brought about a musical assemblage later on. Before founding the band Uluç, Emre and Barış made individual contributions to the advancement of Rock’n Roll Music taking part in various bands. Taking its inspiration from the Rock’n Roll of the fifties, the Reggae of the sixties, and the Punk-Rock of the eighties and nineties, the band features a creative synthesis of these styles, which they call the “Punk’n Roll.” The band also draws attention with their extraordinary and ironic lyrics. They promise to “warm up” the audience. Until 2005 the band released four demo-albums in addition to numerous concerts and various performances. And in 2005 they released their first professional album “Kahpe Felek” (Cruel Fate) with the label of Ada Music. Then followed the second album “Mavra.....
