The punk-rock band which was founded in 1993 by Oğuz Taktak, Tolga Özbey, Levent Özer, Bülent Kabaş and Orkun Tun, after releasing many demo albums produced three split tapes respectively with the English band Active Minds, the French band Flagrants D'eli and the Canadian band Third World Planet. They took part in joint projects with other bands such as Ask it Why and their joint album, “Kadıköy’den Hareketler” (Moves from Kadıköy),  a split 7 Ep., was released in 1996 with the label of the French music company Darbouka Records. The band’s first legally released track was “Demiryolu Çocukları” in the compiled album “Aksi İstikamet” which was released by Kod Music in 1998. Their first studio album “Telaşa Gerek Yok” (No Need to Panic) was released in 1999 as the first punk-rock album in Turkey by Kod Music. The band released the 7 Ep. “Taksim’de Bangyjumping” (Bangyjumping in Taksim) in 2001 with the label of the Netherlander Kroket Records. Their second album “Adam Olmak İstemiyorum” (I Don’t Want to Grow into a Man) was released in 2003 with the label of Ada Music. The band also took part in the collective album “Söz Vermiş Şarkılar” (2004-Ada Music) which consists of songs composed from the works of the renowned poet Murathan Mungan. In the album the band performed the song “Fırtına.” Their LP “Kapak Güzelleri” (Cover Beatuies) was released by the French music company Darbouka Records in 2004. In 2006 their album “Her Şeyin Bedeli Var” (A Price to Pay for Everything) was released by Sony Music. In 2007 they performed Teoman’s song “Kişisel Bir Şey” for the compiled album “Söz Müzik Teoman” released by Avrupa Music. The band released their last 7 Ep. “Dinozor” for Valentine’s Day in 2010. In the same year they recorded Sezen Aksu’s song “Kibir” with Gönül Yazar. The song was released in Gönül Yazar’s “Forever” album. In 2011 they performed the song “Uzak Dur Ateşimden” with Nilüfer for her compiled album “Nilüfer & 12 Düet”. The band also performed the song “Elektrik Şok” (Elektroshock) with Mercan for the compiled album “Düşünen Şarkılar” (Thinking Songs) which was released by Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital in 2011. Their fourth studio album “İnsan Neslinin Sonu” (The End of Human Breed) is released with the label of Ada Music in 2013. Rashit has taken part in various concerts and festivals with various musicians and bands like Marilyn Manson, The Cure, Korn, Offspring, Pet Shop Boys, Dead Kennedys The Cardigans, Simple Minds, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Massive Attack, Pulp, David Byrne, Hanin Elias, Glen Matlock (ex-Sex Pistols), Juliette Lewis and The Licks, Gallon Drunk etc. The band actively carry on their music journey in Istanbul with new projects.
