Zuhal Olcay
Zuhal Olcay After graduating from Ankara State Conservatory, she received her master’s degree from the department of Theatre in the same school. She worked as a stage actress in Istanbul, İzmir and Ankara State Theatres for ten years. By 1983 she began to take part in various TV productions. She first appeared on the silver screen with the film “Sönmüş Ocak.” Yet she won recognition especially with her roles in the TV series “Parmak Damgası” and “Gecenin Öteki Yüzü” in 1985. She received the Best Actress award for her performance in the film “Amansız Yol” in 1985. She also was deemed worthy of the “Avni Dilligil Theatre Award” for her performance in the famous play of Anton Chekhov, “The Seagull” in 1986. In 1989 when she was playing in the Evita musical, she drew attention with her successful singing performance. The same year she took part in the film “Dünden Sonra, Yarı.....
